Classic Corn Keychain
🌽 Do you like corn? 🌽
My favorite part about corn is when it comes out of the cuts and hits you with some crazy culinary application. Two cuttily delicious corn moments come to mind:
- When you are presented with a corn latte in the summer. Made with corn boiled with condensed milk and corn, husk and all, then you hit that thang with an immersion blender til it's smooth-ish, then run it through a strainer. That's some kick-ass milk to put in your coffee, I tell you what.Â
- Take freeze-dried corn and blend it until it is a fine powder, and use it to flavor baked goods or put it in a batter for frying. I am not the innovator of this technique, unfortunately. I attribute it to Christina Tosi of Milk Bar fame because I learned about it in her cookbooks. She adds it to lots of recipes for good reason.
- Interestingly enough, this keychain is made of PLA, which is a corn byproduct.
Aside from that, corn can suck for a variety of reasons.
a. Corn is very visible in poop. Too visible.
b. Corn reminds me of Monsanto. Fuck Monsanto.Â
c. Have you ever gotten lost in a corn maze? That shit is stressful and low-key frightening.Â
So no matter what your thoughts are about corn, I think you'll like this corn keychain. It's very cutesy. She shines in the light.
This version is in silk golden yellow and green with a heart clip. It is a classic and limited colorway.
Don't get me started about how the design of this keychain would've been a lot cooler if you were able to pull the whole corn cob out of the husk to access your perfume sample, instead of ripping the corn head off. Don't even get me started. I tried. It didn't work. Sure, maybe it is because I am cosplaying as a product designer and I actually suck at this. But maybe converting the head of the corn into a lid is for a good reason, and the keychain is actually super durable, and you won't lose your perfume walking down the street because the corn cob fell out of your husk walking down the street like a vagrant. Did you think about THAT? Bet you didn't.Â
The corn holds MOST, BUT NOT ALL SAMPLES. It only holds ONE SAMPLE at a time. Maybe 2x if you have those dumb little 1ml wand dabbers.Â
Don't you dare attempt to return this because one of your 782 samples didn't fit. First of all, I don't accept returns. Second, if you try some crap like that with me, you can get bent.
NOT EDIBLE.
